Final Thoughts

Overall I felt the novel The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger was a fantastic story, and all along I always had that little thought, “what if this was possible”. It truly captured the emotions of love and exhibited its iron grip on two who are really in love. The alternating perspectives between Clare and Henry were perfect it showed their relationship through each other’s eyes it really helped to understand characters and connect. However I did feel the story to be very cheesy at parts, which compromised the development at times but was brought full circle into the timeless story of two star crossed lovers. Or rather time crossed lovers, very reminiscent of The Lakehouse (2006) directed by Aljeandro Agresti.

I would recommend this book to anyone with an open mind, and able to focus on basically two stories in one book. They need to e in it for the long haul and read through.

7/10
